The porous silicon project cooperated with the research team of new energy materials and energy storage technology of Wuhan University of Science and Technology is the first technology in China, which can significantly improve the battery capacity. At present, 1,000 tons/year of porous silicon pilot production line has been built, and the products have entered the market application, which will change the pattern of the new energy battery industry.
During the event, Zhang Huili, dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Wuhan University of Science and Technology, said that the school will take this practical activity as an opportunity to promote innovation, teaching and learning through competition, narrow the gap between talent training and market demand, accelerate the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, deepen the integration of industry and education, and promote school-enterprise cooperation to more fields, wider scope and deeper level.
